A fruit stall sold apples and pears, each available in red and green varieties. In total, 800 pieces of fruit were sold. There were 60 more red apples sold than green apples, and 40 more red pears sold than green pears. Among the red fruit, the number of red apples to red pears sold was in the ratio 5 : 4. (a) How many red apples were sold? (b) How many green pears were sold?
